Boostedseo's 92 FHE turbo
:
Lots done, too tired to list......
Best ET 13.69@103 mph
Best dyno result 178 whp 144 wtrq
Both done with the previous t25 setup goal
Current goal with the Turbonetics T04E and the FHE
220-240 whp on pump gas
Boost required to reach goal 16-18 psi (be warned)
If you turbo your car, plan on breaking stuff.....
So far i've broken one trans, one set of bearings, and I blew the ring lands off of the FHE pistons..... FYI the turbo FHE won't take 23 psi on pump
gas.

I just won\'t go away.....

Turbo manifold is from Wicked EPs in Sri Lanka.....As far as the paint, I like the colors, but not the pattern.....currently the hood and a section of
the roof are in primer from the hood pin incident, so I'll be changing the graphic when I paint those. Works been pretty busy, so I haven't had time
to get it in the booth, and since there will be bad weather soon, I might just wait. The wheels that used to be white, are now black. I'll try to
get some more pics.....The hood scoop is no longer, didn't survive crashing into the windshield. I've actually got some decent sounds now too. New
pioneer headunit with XM, Fusion encounter components, and a Fusion 12 sub and amp. The way it pulled before the piston incident, I didn't figure a
single 12 would hurt much.
I just won\'t go away.....

So true, so very true!! And most people just think slap on a mix turbo kit and it's a done deal. They have no idea what's coming down the road...

178 WHEEL hp with a drag-stripped ultralight Paseo, I think its a logical combo to reach 13.69.

Not really ultra light as you think it is. Installing turbo does add weight to it. I think it's his driving skills that got him there.
If you want to take that into account...
Lotus Elise weights 1984lbs, with VVTL-i 1.8L 190 crank hp that can do 13.5 on 1/4...190 crank to wheels will probably returns around 170hp...

Turbo, pipping, intercooler etc surely adds weight, but with a starting 995kg weighting chassis, if you strip it out for drag you can easily reach
900kg (1984lbs) and even above. With the right (drag always) gear ratio, transmission that can handle the power and a proper driver as you said it is
surely achievable.

Last time I weighed the car it was 2020 lbs. without me in it, and that was a quite a few years ago..... I ran the 13.6 with a horrible 60 ft. time
of 2.21, even with drag radials, that's pretty poor, but what do you expect with a one wheel peel (open diff), and stock gear ratios. I'm working
on some stuff, but i'll be updating soonish.
I just won\'t go away.....

Thanks for the support, and the two holes in the bumper, help keep the rear bumper from being a giant parachute. They help reduce the air trapped in
that thing. In theory at least, I have no proof, but my time slip.
