Madcat + Cheshires '92 Paseo

It currently has a knocking rod. But come tax time we'll get a Starlet front clip and do a 4E-FTE swap. Or hrbrid the 2 either way.

only NOW everyone's doing the 4efte swap, not years ago when the biggest club was up...jeeeeeeeez. go hybrid, or get a 5efhe and fit the 4efte
components to that, more power and torque, and stronger rods even than the 4efte

Come tax time I'm going to dump a quart of Seafoam in my mighty 5EFE and keep my fingers crossed. The V8 swap will have to wait.

Too bad on the v8, converting it to a RWD and V8 power house would be good fun. I can't remember now who wanted to do it first, but there was talk of
making an AWD seo.

Paseo15PSI was thinking about it, as was I, but I would prefer turning it to a mid-engine rwd car using a lightweight i-4 or v6....ah well, i can keep
dreaming. And there was a guy on the old PaseoPIMP site that was apparently cutting up his 4th gen V6 Camaro to use the Paseo shell on

We found another Paseo around here and Gwynnie brought up trying to get a Celica GT-4 setup it in. Wouldn't be much of the car left after it was said
and done, custom floors and supports......race only car. Probably be hella quick at the track

Gather 'round kiddies....update time!!!!!!!!!!!
As most of you know we purchased a 4E-FTE swap from J-hot on Ebay.
Here it is:

And the extra crap that came with it:

My feelings towards the 5E right now:

Will actually start turning wrenches once I get a warm day off .
Should only take a day to pull the 5e and drop in the 4e...just gonna have to wait for the harness to get done by Dr.Tweak.

We've decided that the 4e is a stepping stone to get the 5e fixxed and beefed up.

I thought the only differences b/t the fe and the fhe were the stronger rods and higher comp pistons..plus the ACIS intake.......
Care to elaborate???

no your right but 1.3 L to the 1.5 so its easier use the 4e rods in the 5e-fhe get alot of boom from the compression stroke
