I have a 96 Paseo and I've got a plan. I'm going to drop an LS Vtec motor from a Honda into the Paseo. Thoughts? Questions?

Because the best Toyota motor I could swap in without doing roughly the same amount of fabrication is the 4age.
I also enjoy doing fabrication and have a built 215whp LS/Vtec coming from my Honda which I am currently dropping a J32a2 into. The only other option
is parting out the engine and not getting close to what I spent on it back. The idea of having that much power in a car this light interests me.
If anyone wants to see pictures as I go along or actually cares about fabrication and wants to see a unique project involving a Paseo, feel free to
ask.

Well its your car so do what you want with it.
Aside from that the 3S-GTE will also fit with some fab work. Plus 215hp can easily be done with a 4E-FTE or a built 5E. Sorry I'm a brand purist it
says toyota on the hood it needs a toyota engine in the bay LOL.
I'd love to see a project thread regardless.
Welcome to the site BTW.

That shouldn't be a problem. I rebadged it with Honda emblems today & just finished Bondo-ing in some Honda Civic taillights.

the b18b with tranny is like 4 inches wider then ur engine bay, u gona need to do some cutting, welding, wiring and axles umm have fun with that! the
reason i smelled rice is, cmon dude.. honda civic lights on paseo? honda badges? wat the ffffffffffffffffffffffff......
plus its easier to turbocharged a stock ls and make more power then vtec, unless u gona put high compression pistons, nice set of cams, then i wud
rather do b20 vtec. u can push out 240whp if build right...

The donor motor:

And yes Seri, it is already running 11:1 compression with Skunk2 Pro Series cams right now. The whole point of this swap is to get some more use from
this motor instead of trashing it when I drop the J32 into the Sol.
I put on the civic tail lights because I could and I thought it was funny, not because I thought they looked cool in any way. I'll keep everyone
updated with progress and pictures when the tech starts.
