Spent the last 2 weeks in Europe playing with a 335IS Convertible
My former boss/friend bought a 2011 BMW 335IS Hardtop Convertible and opted for European delivery for it. (pick it up in europe, it's insured for 2
weeks over there, you get tags, a tour of their factory and museum, and then when you're done with the car, drop it off and they ship it back to the
states (6-8 weeks)). He wanted someone to go with him, and no one else could, so I tagged along. And yes I got to drive it.
We started in Munich, Germany, then Como, Italy (after a 5 hr drive through Switzerland); Tuscany, Italy; Baden, Austria; Vienna Austria; then worked
our way back to Munich to 'return' the car. We put 2300 miles on it in 2 weeks.
Pix tell the story best (he's still u/ling them, and I'm lazy, so I'll add more as he does)

One of the places we stayed in Como, Italy. There were 7 Ferraris and a Ford GT there when we checked in.

Some of the random things we saw on the way around:
We started in Germany, so we needed to break it in before we could really play (they said 1000km [~600miles]), so it wasn't until we were back in
Germany at the end of the 2 weeks that we opened it up all the way. So, our last full day in Europe we went for a 130 mile round trip joy ride. He
took the autobahn north for ~65 miles (he topped out the speedo at 160mph) and I took it back. I got to 150mph before we hit traffic and I had to sit
in stop and go back into the city.

WAY COOL!!!!! Did you rock the car to 160 (260km)????

LOL !!!
When I get too comfy in a car I focus less on the road and more on how comfy I am.
Ive noticed on the road that 99.9% percent of the cars I end up behind are luxury cars driving slow.
Im sure they are great cars no biggy!
Just not my thing....
But I find it annoying as hell when people tell me I dont get a perticular new car because its beyond my budget when in fact I like older cars.
As I told someone the other day I dont care if im not driving the newest "Z" car.
I picked my 1990 300zx for a reason.
Maybe Im stuck in the 80's and early 90's

Just finished watching all 4 seasons of ALF today for the last month on hulu.
Was left with a cliffhanger episode....

Nope didnt know, apperantly there was a movie called Project Alf to close the series but I didnt even bother watching it. As Apparently the tanners

There is an old movie called "Permanent Midnight" about a writer on the show and how he was pretty stoned throughout the whole series. Left his kid in
the car while scoring some rocks, not remembering stuff, etc. It stars Elizabeth Hurley and Ben Stiller before their careers took off. Despite the
stars and their role histories, it is a serious movie.

Dont have much to say as of late busy as school is about to start here for me Monday. Auto Classes were all full when it was time to register but
teacher told me to come in and see what is available for that Mechanic Class I Want.
What Do You Call A Mushroom That Buys All The Drinks ???
