Remove TAR ???

What should i use to remove tar?

When the door panels are removed there is a see thru plastic liner, similar to trash bags.

and when u remove that liner, there is a gooey black TAR underneath it.

What chemical should i use to clean it off?

it hasnt hardened yet.

*and stained my hands*

sulfuric acid

White spirit may help, but I tried using it on sound deadener adhesive and it had little effect

I've experienced that gooey sticky stuff! I found the best way to remove it completly from the car is to pick it off by hand. Once you get it going, it comes off fairly uniformly.

If you use chemicals, it just smears and makes a bigger mess.

I think Ill pick it by hand, already made a mess with it without the chemicals.

TOTANKA!

(Starting to understand why the 300zx is such a heavy car... Theres too much unnecessary $hit hidden everywhere... It lacks the Paseo's Simplicity.)

Does it ever harden if left long time?
