Cutters

Drill and 4 1/4" Hole Saw

4 1/4" Round Stop/Turn Lights

Round Clear/Reverse Light

Directions

Step 1: Remove stock lights from car (or – highly suggested – purchase a second set of lights). Clean them up.

Step 2: To the best of your ability, line up the replacement circular lights where you want them on the taillight, and trace the circle onto the light. Mark the center of each of the three circles.

Step 3: Use the hole saw and cut out the three holes on each light.

Step 4: Using the pliers, cutters, and Dremel, clear out as much of the inside of the taillights that is needed to allow the new circular lights to easily slide in and out of the hole. Have the pigtails from the circular lights hanging out of the back of the taillight housing as you will have to wire them into your existing brake light system.

Step 5: Mix together the Bondo. Spread the mixture between the light housing and the circular light (Try to keep it off of the top of the new light, it’ll make life easier). Make sure all the holes are filled and smooth out what you can. Allow it to dry.

Step 6: Sand the Bondo around the circular lights as smooth as possible. You may have to add some more Bondo to get a nice smooth and flush finish after sanding.

Step 7: Cover the tops of the circular lights with painters tape, or some other material that you can cut into a circle to protect the lights from paint.

Step 8: Primer. Sand. Primer. Sand. Paint. Sand. Paint. Sand. Clear. Sand. Clear.

Step 9: Wire the lights into the existing brake wiring system. (Brakes are important... get this right the first time. I take no responsbility for your actions)

Step 10: Install the taillights, go show off.
